Ahmed Hamdy MD
Founder, Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Ahmed Hamdy is an experienced CEO, CMO, co-founder and chairman of the board in the pharmaceutical field, an adjunct professor at UC Santa Cruz Baskin Engineering department of Biomolecular engineering. His Pharma career is extensive with multiple startups with multiple exits, Vincerx as CEO, Co-Founder and Chairman, Acerta Pharma as Co-Founder, CEO, CMO and CMO Pharmacyclics LLC, among others. Dr. Hamdy received a MBBCH from the KasrAlainy School of Medicine at the University of Cairo Egypt. He is also a member of the Dean’s Council for UC Santa Cruz Baskin Engineering department. Dr. Hamdy is a specialist at training executives in companies of all types and directs teams globally. Dr. Hamdy has participated in several approved cancer drugs in the fields of leukemia, lymphoma and solid tumors.
Samantha Woods
Executive Director of Operations
Samantha Woods is well-traveled and versatile management professional, with over 15 years of experience in the fashion industry. During her time as a sales leader, she spent significant time in cities throughout Europe and North America. On these trips, she became passionate about food culture, with her fashion business sense translating into a strong understanding of what makes a great restaurant, from bar to dining room to kitchen. As an account executive for brands and agencies in New York and Los Angeles, she focused on luxury clients, increasing sales targets and growing revenue while building and developing high-performing teams. More recently, she delved into the world of sports marketing, working with the Golden State Warriors G League team to create long-lasting partnerships with clients in the food, event, and tech industries. Sam grew up in Santa Cruz and with her enthusiasm for the arts and commerce focused her baccalaureate degree in marketing and management at the Art Institute of San Francisco. She’s thrilled to bring her eye for high-quality yet accessible hospitality back home.
